Target HousingConstructed in the late 1950's Palmetto Park is a neighborhood adjacent to the John H. Dickerson Community Center and Campbell Aquatic Center. Palmetto Park is a community of single family and duplex 2, 3 and 4-Bedroom Apartments. Caroline Village is a community of 2 and 3-Bedroom duplex apartments built in 1965 adjacent to the Dickerson Library and other County Services. The neighborhood was heavly impacted by flood waters during Hurricane Ian in 2022. A quiet development of 20 dupex 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments, Walnut Oak is adjacent to Bethune-Cookman University and the Dr. MM Bethune Commerical District.

Since 1938 Housing Daytona Beach has offered subsidized income based housing and homeownership opportunities for qualified low-income families, elderly and persons with disabilities in Daytona Beach FL. Incorporated in 1876 Daytona, Daytona Beach and Seabreeze merged together in 1926 as Daytona Beach.
The strategic partnership between the City and the Housing Authority marks a significant step toward repositioning the Midtown neighborhood to attract investment, increase economic diversity and expand affordable housing for Midtown residents. This project aligns with the City Commission’s priority to create and improve affordable housing for our residents and HDB's goal is to create communities that add value to the larger community.
